Weasel was shrieking up at the ceiling with unusual intensity just now, and I walked out to find both the cats stalking one of these around the moulding. And yes, that picture is pretty much Actual Size... But what the hell, centipedes eat Certain Other Insects That Live In Houses, so more power to 'em, I say.

And here, seeing the title, I thought the guy from this past weekend that we saw walking around the Milwaukee Mile with the Yosemite Sam moustache had sneezed it right off his face.

Yes, they're interesting for cats to stalk.

Know, however, that centipedes have two legs that are poisonous. The first time my cat ate one, he felt distinctly unwell. Fortunately, he recovered and started eating more again after a couple of days. After that, though, I'd occasionally find a pair of centipede legs lying about. "Live and learn" in action!
