welcome to my day and you can have it - Diary of a Necromancer
Excuse me, I'm making perfect sense, you're just not keeping up
welcome to my day and you can have it
Okay, it was a minor irritation, but still: of the six flavors of slurpee on offer at the 7-11 I went half a mile out of my way to walk over to after I stopped at the library, I am allergic to banana, apple, cherry, and mango, didn't think it was a good idea to tempt fate by trying the mystery-fruit, and I didn't want a cola one. So I left emptyhanded. Bah...

In other news, the scone recipe also gives interesting results when the dough is shaped into balls, rolled in brown sugar, and baked in a muffin-tin. Just sayin'.

feeling: exercised

Wait, you mean there's actual fruit juice in a Slurpee?! Color me shocked; I'd always assumed they were 100% artificial flavorings. Or is it just the different varieties of fake to which you are allergic?

Yup, the artificial flavorings -- and cherry, apple and mango are three big headache-triggers for me, with banana right behind. (I suspect there's some element in common there that's what I actually react to...)
