Because I think we could all use it at the end of a year like this has been, go ye forth and post something that reminds you of What It's All About.

They received all perfect 6.0s for that routine, a score that can never be bettered.

I remember the sensation it caused in Britain and the instant celebrity it brought them.

I remember watching that routine as a boy!

I saw, years later, that people were shocked that Torvill and Dean weren't lovers, when they both married other folks. It as tough to understand, for many, how it could be possible that they weren't together. Watching them, that confusion is understandable.

Thank you. That was beautiful. Bolero is one of my all time favorite pieces. And the ice dancing was pure poetry.

I remember that. Vividly. Those people do ON ICE things that most normal folks can't do on solid ground without winding up in a heap in the middle trying to figure out which limbs belong to whom.

This was a breathtaking piece of art.

Thanks for the trip back in time.

A true piece of art. How lucky we are to be able to see it whenever we want to. That sort of thing used to be just the moment. Now it can be for anyone anytime.

I'm glad you posted that. And when you consider what was passing for choreography in most 80s stuff....

Truly beautiful.
