And she used a loom. I hand-beaded an ornament for my Uncle for Christmas one year with fussy thread and Delicas, and it probably took me about 30 hours. And it was a simple design.

Beadwork is TEDIOUS. This is why I mostly stick to necklaces and bracelets. Those don't take aeons....

A loom threaded with wire. I may be many kinds of crazy, but there are lines even I know not to cross...

*snickers* Actually, beading looms are typically threaded with wire if you want the finished product to be flexible or durable. That's not TOO uncommon.

Yeah, I'm probably thinking of what a nuisance wire is with off-loom stuff (which can stand up by itself perfectly well anyway if you plan it that way)...
