mmm, turkish delight... - Diary of a Necromancer
Excuse me, I'm making perfect sense, you're just not keeping up

I'm not usually one for signing things, paranoid sort that I am, but I'll make an exception for the "Run, Barack, Run!" effort. I may have disavowed any Dead Zone theatrics when I shook Howard Dean's hand, but Obama is going to be President, and I think we'd all be better off if it were sooner rather than later.

Ahem. Anyway. Thanksgiving went well, for once, perhaps because we finally have a big enough house to make Mum's sister's family be the ones to have to exhaust themselves driving, and ending up with custody of the leftovers afterwards is always a nice bonus. The house is spookily tidy still, despite some damage done during the weekend when we got some more of Mum's bedroom sorted out, and I've even started thinking about the possibility of Having People Over before the formal housewarming (now projected for May 2008). If I decided to have an "always winter but never Christmas" get-together some time in the next couple of weeks, how many of you would be likely to turn up, and when?

Poll #877327 Schroedinger's guest-list

I would be likeliest to turn up:

Friday, 12/15
4(66.7%)
Friday, 12/22
0(0.0%)
Saturday, 12/23
0(0.0%)
some other day of the week within that period
0(0.0%)
some other day, earlier than that
0(0.0%)
some other day, later than that
1(16.7%)
Not at all, I hate you and your cats smell funny
0(0.0%)
...Who are you again?
1(16.7%)

I'm feeling uncharacteristically benevolent about the holidays this year, so I'd advise y'all to take advantage of it... :)

Friday 12/15, or some other weekend time that isn't the 8th-10th or 21st-26th.
