May have seen Vince Vaughn (not pictured); positive ID difficult between my crap glasses and the part where I don't actually know who Vince Vaughn is, but this was what the assorted Unwashed were shouting at the bloke in the suit who was wandering around in the middle of Lawrence repeatedly approaching the car that kept making three-point turns to come back and drive past him in the same direction, so I'll assume that it's a reasonable guess. Note to IMDb geeks: wandering around in the middle of Lawrence is a definite goof, as this is generally not a survivable action. After about a half hour of this I got bored and hungry and went back home.

Also, apparently I look enough like a production assistant myself that a random Unwashed introduced herself to me in some confusion as to what was going on. This is, at least, a step up from the usual misidentification such as "Home Despot drone" or "bookstore clerk". Suppose I could have made a stab at sneaking into the basecamp set up at the Roosevelt HS parking lot and football field...

AHAHAH that same movie was filming two blocks from my apartment a few weeks ago. Neighbors were bitching all over the place about the parking issues (I don't own a car so I don't care) but still turned out to gawk. :D

I live just south/east of Chicago and Ashland, btw. There's a weird-looking modern house that they were using as location. The strangest thing about it was that, a couple weeks before filming started, they built this Robo-Tree. Trunk, branches, leaves, etc., all looked normal until you got close and saw that it was all held together with metal brackets.
