...George had a turn just there where the screen suddenly went blank. I don't think he'd just dozed off, because he didn't start flashing his power-light and he didn't come round when I closed him for a few moments (he did start flashing the sleep-light then), but holding the power key down brought the screen from "power on but no one home" grey to "definitely off" black, and then he started back up and seems to be all right now. Anyone out there with MacBook experience know if this sounds like I should book him for a checkup at the mothership? (Since he's obviously still under warranty...)

It's my experience that Apple loves to be good at customer service as long as there's some history there. Taking him in for a once over will only make anything that needs to happen down the road easier as there will be previous incidents. Couldn't hurt, ya know?
