Excuse me, I'm making perfect sense, you're just not keeping up

I... do not really have a good explanation for this.

Probably a good thing that that glass is minivan sound-proof... And yes, we dispersed peacefully once our list of demands had been met, IE we had Been On Television. (Come to think of it, that was a pretty crappy list of demands, wasn't it. As hard as they were trying not to crack up on camera we could have got a few bucks out of them as well...)

MAN! Last year Carole and I were late and totally missed the whole Tafia group and this year I was too bloody sick to try and go down there!!! *pout*

NEXT YEAR! Next year we are going! Help me poke Carole so we're not late again (at least now we'll know where to go park, that's where we lost some time last year).

I was so sick I didn't even watch the news to look for people. Glad you got on! :D I love the huge leek and all the flags!!

If you want to get out to something before then, I was thinking of going to the thing where that pub is showing Wales v... um, somebody on the 20th...? I predict that there would probably be a moderate amount of Welsh content there, not that I understand or particularly give a toss about rugby but the game's in Cardiff. ;)

Is that the pub that is showing the matches for free? I might be up for that. Rugby looks interesting, but there are all these rules...

And where did they get a blow-up leek from, dare I ask?

Yup, the Globe, near the Irving Park brown-line stop -- I'm toying with the idea of calling $BIRTHDAY that and then lunch at that funky 20's Chinese place the Orange Garden a few doors down, since that opens right when the rugby should be over...

I have no idea where they got the inflatable leek. It kind of seemed like one of those things it was better not to ask. :)
